Driving around town today, I saw a lot of yard signs on the corner of intersections advertising Medical Ma*****na Evaluations.

First, at $200, that just seems like a lot to me. I got a non-resident card in CA in 2017, before recreational, and it was only $50. People at the time told me *that* was too much.

Second, Alabama doesn't even have a registry open yet!!! So, if you use this service, you won't even know if you are approved until the registry opens. This is a waste of time and energy.

My advice: Wait. Someone will eventually open a small office in an old strip mall near you with two chairs in the waiting room, then you'll go in a back room and have a 5 minute conversation with a doctor via video-chat and you'll walk out with your card. This seems like a very good business opportunity for a young doctor.
