Hello everyone,
I want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who has been checking in on my father and offering your unwavering support. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial assistance have meant the world to us, and we truly could not have navigated this journey without your love. We feel incredibly blessed.
I’m relieved to share that Dad is doing much better now. He recently battled a cold that led to a kidney infection, but thankfully, he has overcome those challenges. However, being on antibiotics for such an extended period has affected his stomach, and he has lost some weight. We are now working together to develop a high-calorie diet that accommodates his digestive system and stoma.
After much consideration, he has decided that he will not be undergoing chemotherapy again, as it was exceptionally hard on his body. I wholeheartedly support this decision. As many of you know, the toll of chemo was significant, and he is now exploring holistic treatments. He has mentioned feeling progress internally; the tumor pain has decreased, and he can finally sit comfortably again after such a long time of struggle. It’s heartwarming to witness these small but meaningful improvements.
Currently, he still has a nephrostomy tube for urination, but he feels hopeful that the time for its removal is approaching. Unfortunately, he will not be returning to work, and he knows that he must take it easy and avoid stress or any strenuous activities for the sake of his health.
We cannot express how thankful we are for everything you’ve done for us. Your kindness and support have truly been a source of strength during this challenging time. Thank you once again for your prayers and love. We cherish each one of you. God bless.
