The SHSU Counseling Center provides individual, couples, and group therapy to students who are currently enrolled. Our mission is to provide service within the university environment that contributes to the academic success, personal growth, and positive social contribution of Sam Houston State University students. If you are in a state of crisis, we offer walk-in appointments during our normal hours of operation. In case of an after-hours crisis, you can contact University Police at 936.294.1794 for assistance and they can connect you with an on-call clinician.
