Today 1/27/26 we will be closing early for the safety of our staff and customers so they can get back home before roads start to ice back over. We are requesting people to pick up prescriptions by 4:00 pm if possible. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Update: we will be closing today 1/26/26 at 3:00pm. We will monitor the roads and weather and will update about what time we’ll open tomorrow as we have more information. Thank you!

Due to inclement weather and road conditions, we will not open today until 9:00 am. We also want to make sure our staff and customers are not out after dark, so we will be closing early today. We are monitoring the weather to determine what time. Please call before coming out and plan to pick up any prescriptions by at least 2:00 pm. Sorry for any inconvenience and everyone stay safe.

Today was a tough day for all of us. Saying your last goodbyes on this Earth is never easy. The overwhelming support, prayers, and kind words from so many people over the last few days truly show how much Dad—Wild Bill, “Not So” Wild Bill, Billy Bob, or Grumps—meant to everyone. God gave His grace to us today to help us make it through.

We extend our deepest thanks and gratitude to everyone who reached out in person, by text or message, or who drove many miles to pay their respects. Sundays are busy days, but Dad wouldn’t have had it any other way than for the store to remain open. The number of people who came to pay their respects shows just how many lives he touched.

For those who couldn’t make it, or who came by but we didn’t get a chance to speak with, please know that your prayers were felt during this difficult time. We have big shoes to fill and will miss him always. Thank you for all the kind words and the wonderful stories.

It is with great sadness that we post the following: In Memory of Bill Dunlap. We lost the founder/owner of Plateau Drugs suddenly and unexpectedly yesterday afternoon. Prayers and Respects have been pouring in since yesterday and they greatly appreciated. He worked every day and loved caring for his customers, family and friends. He will be greatly missed, but his presence and the smell of his pipe will always be here in spirit.

We are currently having some issues with our phones. People with Verizon cell phones are unable to reach us. You can still reach us from other carriers, LAN lines, or you can just drop by. Hopefully this will be resolved soon. Sorry for any inconvenience.
