I’m in the final stretch of my dissertation and I only need 4 more participants to complete this study. I’m looking for middle school teachers who have experience working with Black parents of autistic students.

I want to name something openly.
I know research and studies have not always been safe or trustworthy spaces for our communities. That history is real, and it matters. This is different.

This work is being led by me, a Black autistic woman, mother, clinician, and advocate, so that our voices are centered, protected, and heard. I need teacher voices in this study so I can continue the work I do through Autism in Black® and keep pushing for change rooted in lived experience, not assumptions.

If you are, or know, a middle school teacher who may be a good fit, please take a look or share this link

Our voices matter. This is one way we make sure they’re heard.
