We also hit the road with our Mobile Medical Unit, providing 3,500+ screenings and clinic visits across 177 community events, expanding care to our rural neighbors in Gurley, New Hope and beyond.

Let’s hear it for Andy Ladner on his promotion to Neurosciences Service Line Administrator! 🏥🧠

Andy’s journey at HH began in 2018 as a registered nurse in our Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Now, he steps up to lead the Neuro ICU as well as the Neuro-Spine and Neurology units, and our EEG Department.

Andy is known for his incredible dedication — you might remember him for running 10 miles through a snowstorm, across Monte Sano mountain, just to make sure he didn't miss work! ❄️🏃

Whether he’s training for the Rocket City Marathon and Mountain Mist 50K or raising three young sons with his wife, Megan, Andy brings 110% to everything he does.

Please join us in celebrating Andy’s new chapter! 👏✨

Pam’s Pro Tips:
✅ Don’t skip meals: Arriving hungry can lead to overeating later!
✅ Keep moving: A 10-minute walk after a big meal does wonders for blood sugar.
✅ Stay hydrated: Water is your best friend between those holiday treats.
✅ Master the Plate: When you head to the buffet, think:

🥗 1/2 Plate: Non-starchy veggies (the greens!)
🍗 1/4 Plate: Lean protein (turkey or ham)
🥔 1/4 Plate: Your favorite holiday carb (stuffing or a roll)
