Advanced practice nurses are essential to patient care, especially in rural areas of out state. Making it harder to afford these programs will have a direct impact on our patients. Please sign and share!

AACN and national nursing organizations are leading the effort to ensure nursing is recognized as a professional degree as the Department of Education advances new proposed definitions that will determine federal loan limits. To protect post- baccalaureate nursing students’ access to essential federal loans, we’re urging the Department to recognize nursing as a professional degree. It's imperative to act now. Our bimonthly meetings have been the foundation of this rebuilding era in our chapter. We have been fortunate to work with amazing sponsors ( Gebauer’s PainEase)
that have brought great educational topics, provided dinner, and created a space for us to network and learn.

If you have a product/topic that you’d like to share with a great group of critical care nurses, or just want to sponsor a holiday meal, please email us at northalaacn@gmail.com
