I’m excited to share that Truss Behavioral Health, LLC, my private practice, is getting ready to open its doors to clients in Priceville! My mission is to provide accessible, strengths‑focused support for children, teens, young adults, and families in our community.

At this time, I have limited availability for telehealth sessions on weekday evenings and in‑person appointments on Saturdays. Services include:

• Consultations
• Counseling
• Executive Functioning Coaching
• Trainings

Beginning soon, I will also be offering autism evaluations for children under 5. As the practice grows, I plan to expand testing services to better meet the needs of the community. I will also continue providing evaluations and services at The Riley Center in Huntsville, where I remain committed to supporting families through comprehensive, collaborative care.

I’m in the process of adding the new office to my insurance credentialing and hope to accept BCBS and Cigna soon. I will be accepting other insurances in the future. Self‑pay options are available as well.

Truss Behavioral Health specializes in supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, emotion regulation needs, and behavior challenges through compassionate, strengths-based care.

Big news! I’m getting ready to launch a small private practice alongside my full-time work—and I couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter.

To start, I’ll be offering limited hours focused on supporting children and teens through:

💬 Individual therapy
✏️ Autism diagnostic evaluations for children under 5
👨‍👩‍👧 Parent behavior training
📚 Executive functioning support

Rooted in respect, clarity, and inclusivity, my work in autism and ADHD aims to bridge understanding and empower growth—one connection at a time.

I’m currently working on developing a welcoming clinical space, but telehealth is available—and there are more exciting opportunities in the works! I’m also in the process of insurance credentialing and hope to offer in-network options with BCBS soon—more updates to come!

Hi everyone! I’m Autumn Truss, Psy.D., a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in the assessment and therapy of autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders. I’m excited to share this space where we can connect and discuss important topics in mental health, neurodiversity, and much more.

A bit about me: I began my journey in 2012 as a registered behavioral technician, which sparked my passion for working with neurodivergent individuals. Since then, I’ve earned my master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University and have completed extensive specialized training at places like Indiana University School of Medicine and Vanderbilt's Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD), where I was also a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) trainee.

Now that I’m back home, I’m committed to expanding access to essential services, including diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy and counseling, parent training, community outreach, and research. I look forward to sharing resources with you all, and I’m excited to engage in conversations that promote better understanding and support for mental health and neurodiversity!
