We have received calls from some of our patients in regards to the announcement that we are moving to CCI. We appreciate and understand your concerns. I just want to reiterate a few things to set your minds at ease.

Both Dr. Hachem and Dr. Ortega are joining CCI on February 1. The office we are currently in will close for good on Jan 31. If you are a patient you will be receiving a letter within the next 2 weeks with more information and instructions.

If you have an appointment with one of our providers that is scheduled after Feb 1 you will begin seeing your current provider at the CCI location, still in Huntsville. Same physician, same nurse practitioner, many of the same faces you have been seeing.

This will be a new adventure for us and we are looking forward to continuing your care at the new location. CCI has a beautiful building in a great location and there is plenty of parking! If you have more questions after you receive your letter we will be happy to answer them.

‼️ATTENTION PATIENTS‼️

Effective February 1, 2026, Dr. Ali Hachem and Dr. Rosa Michel Ortega will be joining Clearview Cancer Institute (CCI) and will begin seeing patients at CCI’s Russel Hill Location, located at 3601 CCI Drive Northwest, Huntsville, AL 35805.

The Huntsville location of SCC will cease operations on January 31, 2026. All previously scheduled appointments will remain as scheduled unless we hear from you requesting modification or cancellation.

Should you choose not to follow your provider to Clearview Cancer Institute, please notify us as soon as possible to cancel your appointment and arrange for your records to be sent to the provider of your choosing.

🚫 MYTH: All lumps are cancer.
✅ FACT: 60–80% of lumps are not cancerous.

🚫 MYTH: Lumps are the only sign.
✅ FACT: Swelling, discharge and other changes can also be signs.

🚫 MYTH: Mammograms cause cancer.
✅ FACT: Radiation risk is extremely low, mammograms save lives.

When breast cancer is found at Stage 0 or 1, the 5-year survival rate is 99%. But that number drops as the cancer progresses.
