Our friends and family members in Assisted Living need our help! DHS has announced that they will not be increasing their Medicaid reimbursement rates which will hurt facilities with maintaining adequate staffing, meet rising costs in food and utilities, as well as continuing to provide the quality care the residents rely on. Many facilities, especially rural facilities, will be forced to not be able to accept Medicaid or even have to close their facilities.
