Technology is changing healthcare. But at Independent Health Solutions, we know that no algorithm will ever replace a skilled, compassionate caregiver in someone's home.

Contrary to popular belief, stress is not limited to workforce responsibilities. When a loved one needs extra care at home, families often carry a quiet kind of stress. Balancing responsibilities, worrying about safety, and trying to do the right thing can feel overwhelming. That’s where support can make all the difference. 🩵🧡

At Independent Health Solutions, we provide in-home care and respite support that helps families take a breath, recharge, and know their loved one is in compassionate, capable hands. Caregiving is not meant to be done alone.

There is no place like home. And for the patients we serve at Independent Health Solutions, that is not just a saying. It is everything.

In-home care happens in living rooms, kitchens, and bedrooms. It happens in the quiet moments when a patient needs someone steady, skilled, and genuinely present. That kind of care comes from investing in people the right way.

And right now, that investment has never been more urgent. Over three quarters of Americans 50 and older want to age in place, but the workforce needed to support them is shrinking. Home care is feeling that gap every single day.

Apprenticeships are part of how we answer that call. This week we are proud to celebrate the aides who chose to learn while they earned, including some who are graduating from their programs this very week. They are not just filling a workforce gap. They are changing lives, one home visit at a time.

This week, the nation is celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2026, and we are proud to be part of it! At Independent Health Solutions, we know that building a stronger America starts right at home, literally.

Apprenticeships are shaping the next generation of skilled, compassionate caregivers right here in South Dakota, and today we celebrate that legacy. As our nation marks 250 years, Registered Apprenticeships remind us that investing in people has always been the foundation of a thriving country.

🎉 Today, the U.S. Department of Labor is kicking off NAW 2026 with a National Signing Day Ceremony, celebrating new Registered Apprenticeship standards from major employers across the country.
