When this incredible woman first arrived at Oakmont Guest Care, she could walk only 10 feet — and needed a walker to do it. Every step was a challenge, but she met each one with determination and a smile.
Through hard work, encouragement, and the guidance of our Physical Therapy team, she began to rebuild her strength one day at a time. Today, she’s walking 200 feet — with just supervision! 🚶♀️💪
Even more inspiring, she’s regained her ability to perform most of her activities of daily living independently — a huge step toward full confidence and freedom.
We couldn’t be prouder of her perseverance and the amazing progress she’s made. Her journey reminds us that with dedication and heart, every step forward is a victory. 💙
