Feed the Tennis Ball! 🎾🌟

This playful activity is a fun way to build important fine motor and hand skills while keeping kids engaged. By squeezing the tennis ball open and “feeding” it pom-poms, children are working on hand strength and control needed for everyday tasks like writing, cutting, and buttoning.

As kids pick up the pom-poms and place them into the tennis ball’s mouth, they’re also practicing hand-eye coordination, grasp development, and bilateral coordination (using both hands together). The squeezing motion provides great proprioceptive input, helping with body awareness and regulation—especially for kids who seek movement or pressure.
