We’re proud to support Hutchinson Area Hot Meals on Wheels, a program that has been serving our community since 1973!

Each year, about 5,500 meals are delivered to local residents who may be unable to prepare meals on their own. This grant helps keep these meals affordable and accessible, ensuring this vital service continues to make a difference in Hutchinson.

Holiday cheer is in full swing at Hutchinson Health!

Santa and Mrs. Claus stopped by several departments, spreading smiles, happiness, and plenty of festive cheer along the way. It was a joyful reminder of the season and the incredible people who care for our community every day.

We’re proud to help support FREE open swim opportunities for our community!

Thanks to funding provided by the Hutchinson Health Foundation, families and individuals can enjoy open swim nights throughout the winter and spring—making healthy, active fun accessible to everyone.

We love supporting programs that bring our community together and promote wellness for all ages.

🎓 Congratulations to Tyler Erlandson!

Tyler is a 2025 recipient of the McKay Family Legacy Scholarship. He is attending North Dakota State University, pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice.

We’re excited to share that groundbreaking took place last week for the expansion of our Emergency Department. Built in the early 1990s to serve about 5,000 patients a year, the ER now cares for more than 11,000 annual visits. This expansion will help meet that growing need while improving safety, privacy, and care for patients and staff.

Thanks to $5.25 million in community support, including a generous $4.25 million anonymous gift, this project represents a major investment in the future of care for Hutchinson and surrounding communities.

Construction begins after the New Year. Thank you for helping strengthen emergency care for our community. 💙

With support from this grant, the Hutchinson Health Laboratory has added a new microscope camera, and it’s already making a meaningful impact.

The camera allows the lab team to display microscope images directly on a computer screen, making it easier to capture rare or unusual findings and build a library of resources for training and competency assessments.

It’s also a valuable tool for student learning and lab tours, giving students the chance to see real cells and experience what happens behind the scenes in the lab.

Investments like this strengthen diagnostic skills, enhance education, and support the high-quality care provided to patients in our rural community.
