Mar. 7th Meeting of Polio Survivors' Support Group

At our March meeting, we are privileged to have John B. Jarrott, Jr. (Jack), talk to us about his father, Dr. Jarrott. Dr. Jarrott was well-known for taking care of polio patients. He provided care for members of our group. They remember him with fondness. This is a rare opportunity for us!

Coffee and snacks will be on the snack table for us to enjoy! Snacks may be brought by members whose last names begin with the letters I through P.

At our November meeting, we are privileged to have Beth Akins, a social worker from Horizons Mental Health Center, will present our program to us. She will tell us about what she does and share other key aspects of their services. She will also answer our questions. This will undoubtedly be an interesting and informative time together.

At our October meeting, we are privileged to have representatives from the Hutchinson Cardiac Rehab present our program. They will inform us about their key services and how the services benefit individuals. They will also answer our questions. We are fortunate to have this vital service available to us!

Sept. 6th meeting of Central KS Polio Survivors' Support Group

Due to ACT testing, we will meet in another room. Enter the student union as usual and go up the ramp. There will be further directions there to guide you. Note: This room has Zoom capabilities!
Our program will focus on us as we share our concerns, issues, information, and other thoughts on our minds, as well as share our stories. The camaraderie and support for each other will be infectious!
