Home Plus care is a new standard of senior living, dedicated to creating luxurious and comfortable living facilities. At Pleasant Hills, we take the time to specifically cater to your individual needs and requests. We are a non-profit, faith based organization with a focus on resident care and comfort. Pleasant Hills currently offers full time care and adult day care. "Our family moved our mother to Pleasant Hills in May of 2015. Our decision was the right one. The level of care and home-cooked meals shared with the staff made her feel part of the family. In addition to that the spacious rooms with the roll-in shower heated towel rack made it like living at home with help. Pleasant Hills has several areas for families to meet as well as a theatre-like media center. For her 91st birthday we were able to use the well equipped kitchen and the dining area to have 20 or so family member help her celebrate. As her health deteriorated to the point of hospice care, the staff did everything we asked for to make her passing as painless as possible. We highly recommend this experience for anyone considering a place of care for their loved ones."

Yesterday was all Midway! Carnival games, to be exact. We had a blast winning prizes with Punch It!

Our fair week continues! Yesterday we made blankets that are all Grand Champions and had caramel and buttered popcorn. Today we feasted on some of our fair food favorites…corn dogs, corn on the cob, apples and caramel, and funnel cakes.

We brought the Kansas State Fair to the Hills! We're diving into the fun with our fair themed week. All week our residents have the chance to guess the Kisses in the Jar.
