Veritas Direct Care was created in 2023 to bring the Direct Primary Care model to the patients and wonderful team of Primary Care of Cape Cod. Direct Primary Care is a practice model that allows health care providers to provide high quality care, emphasizing the relationship between provider and patient. Patients pay a membership fee to belong to an exclusive panel with a designated primary care provider. By keeping the panel sizes small, your provider will be able to spend more time per visit, and have prompt access when needed. You will also have the access and support of our entire practice, including other providers, a practice pharmacist, excellent nurses, our friendly admin team, and our in-house lab - without copays, coinsurance or deductibles. This means that we work directly for you, not your insurance company. We appreciate your consideration and support for our new practice. Veritas staff members have started a lunch time stair challenge at the office! As many of you know we are in a condo building- so we started doing the stairs as an “exercise snack” we have 4 flights up to the top!

What’s an exercise snack, you ask?
It’s a short burst of activity that gets your heart rate up done a few times throughout the day.

Benefits:
-short bursts improves cardiorespiratory fitness, lowers blood sugar spikes, and supports heart health.
-gets blood flowing; wakes up your muscles and nervous system
-reduces stiffness
-boosts energy and focus, increased alertness and improves mood (Happy workers=happy patients!)
