Veritas Direct Care was created in 2023 to bring the Direct Primary Care model to the patients and wonderful team of Primary Care of Cape Cod. Direct Primary Care is a practice model that allows health care providers to provide high quality care, emphasizing the relationship between provider and patient. Patients pay a membership fee to belong to an exclusive panel with a designated primary care provider. By keeping the panel sizes small, your provider will be able to spend more time per visit, and have prompt access when needed. You will also have the access and support of our entire practice, including other providers, a practice pharmacist, excellent nurses, our friendly admin team, and our in-house lab - without copays, coinsurance or deductibles. This means that we work directly for you, not your insurance company. We appreciate your consideration and support for our new practice. Thank you to Chatham Bars Inn and CPT Nicole Harrison for inviting Veritas Nurse Coach Bethany Emmel to speak at your Wellness Weekend.

It was an honor to share “Fuel the Movement You Want” and introduce guests to the power of nurse coaching — helping people understand how nutrition, lifestyle, and daily habits truly fuel strength, energy, and long-term health.

At Veritas Direct Care, we believe healthcare should be proactive, personalized, and rooted in education. Opportunities like this allow us to bring practical wellness tools beyond the clinic and help people take ownership of their health.

And it didn’t hurt to have these conversations in the beautiful seaside setting of Chatham Bars Inn. Grateful for the opportunity to share this work and excited for more chances to spread the message of nurse coaching and whole-person wellness.
