With all the amazing moments created on the slopes this year, it’s hard to believe that we are just over half way through ski season! The TetraSki and SnowKart programs are going stronger than ever, and we are happy to be able to fill the demand with our three instructors and support volunteers. We wish to thank the Vail Resorts Epic Promise Foundation, and all the generous donors and foundations who are making this dream a reality for so many users! We are now embarking on the next fundraiser to fund the program NEXT season, please donate to the Vertical Challenge Fundraiser if you can so we can keep on providing these opportunities! Registration for the Trapp Cabin Trail Races is OPEN! Sign up to race a 5km, 10km, or a 1/2 Marathon on Sunday, Sept 20, 9am at the beautiful von Trapp Family Outdoor Center in Stowe, Vt. These trails are not usually open to the public which makes this race even more special. This is a perfect opportunity to try out trail running, to look for your personal best, or put the pedal down and go for the gold. It is also an important fundraiser for our non-profit organization. Rally up friends and family, and commit today, you’ll be happy you’ve set this goal for yourself! Link in the bio.

2025 has been an incredible year for GMAS. Our adaptive sport programs continue to grow, both in the number of participants and in the locations we serve, AND we continue to build strong partnerships with other adaptive programs and local sports facilities. These collaborations strengthen our bonds and create a solid foundation for growth—expanding opportunities and allowing us to achieve far more together than would ever be possible working alone.

Enjoy this year's recap and photos! We are very proud of all we have accomplished with the support of our amazing COMMUNITY!

We’re off to an awesome start this season! ❄️⛷️ Both the TetraSki and the Snowkart have been out every week—and some weeks we’ve had both skis running all four lesson days at Stowe Mountain Resort. The snow has been fantastic, the stoke is high, and excitement around the program just keeps growing. Our schedule is full, skiers are making huge strides, tackling new terrain, and—most importantly—having an absolute blast out there. Huge gratitude to our incredible instructors (David, Allie, and Tom) and our amazing volunteers (Laura, Eric, and Sarah) for making all of this possible. We couldn’t do it without you! 💙

In 2013, this is what the Stowe Monoski Camp looked like! 7 athletes, including Geoff Krill who has attended every year since (but one,) and Brenna Warwick who was back this year, with a total of 27 monoskiers. We've come a long way baby...and the spirit of collaboration is still at the root of this great event! See you all in 2027!

Thanks American Flatbread Stowe for hosting our last fundraiser and raffle! We had a blast last night and enjoyed pizza together while raising funds for GMAS and our local adaptive sports programs. So fun to meet new families participating in our program, instructors, board members, friends and family, what a reunion this turned out to be! Many happy raffle winners too! Prizes were generously donated by Pinnacle Ski and Sports & Inner Bootworks, Prohibition Pig, Hen of the Wood, Doc Pound, and American Flatbread. Grateful for another great event!
