GMAS Adaptive Skateboard + Talent Skatepark are offering a new session of adaptive skateboarding lessons in a safe, supportive space. Scholarships are available for Vermont residents and include 6 sessions + all equipment. Sign up on our website, link below.

Happy New Year! We are stocked to kick off 2026 with great snow and tons of energy for the season ahead.

Thanks to your incredible support, we are able to provide lessons and ski passes for 44 adaptive skiers this year—at Stowe and Smugglers’ Notch. How impressive! Thank you for believing in us and for supporting GMAS.

While we fell short of our fundraising goal by about $4,500, we are deeply grateful to everyone who generously donated to our campaign. Please know that your contributions go directly toward athlete scholarships—the more funds we raise, the more people we can support in skiing, rock climbing, skateboarding, swimming, and more.

Our last fundraising event of 2025 was out of this world! Stowe Cider sure knows how to throw a party and last night’s Winter Solstice did not disappoint! The place was packed, the dance floor on fire, buzzing with energy and hopes of the best winter yet! Thanks to Stowe Cider for the incredible partnership, we are so grateful to count you as friends and PIC. Many thanks also to Roger Murphy and his band, The Lost Faculty who played their hearts out! We are incredible grateful for all the businesses who generously donated prizes for the raffle, to our volunteers, and to all who purchased tickets! We couldn’t be more proud to see our community come together in such happy times to celebrate everything that UNITES us - and there is plenty of that to share!

What a night! The Pinnacle Ski and Sports & Inner Bootworks FREE movie night & kick off party! at Stowe Cider was a blast yesterday! Thanks to all who attended and ultimately supported Green Mtn Adaptive through the purchase of drinks, and raffle tickets! Thanks Stowe Cider, and all our friends at Pinnacle Ski and Sports (the B E S T ski shop in Stowe!), and congrats to all the winners… The Stowe Mountain Resort Pass Party was also going strong a few miles up the hill… Snow is on our minds, and we are all excited to celebrate the arrival of winter together. We are feeling the love, and there is no better feeling in the world! Thanks for the generous support, we have the best community.

The Stowe Team was all smiles today at the conclusion of the Move United Sport Hartford Ski Spectacular in Breckenridge! A great week was had by all with GMAS represented by 4 instructors this year. Skizzi Huffman successfully completed her PSIA Level 1 Adaptive Assessment in Monoski/Bi-Ski with the help of a scholarship from Green Mountain Adaptive Sports. Stowe certified ski instructors Tom Hall and Brent Hazzard attended as adaptive ski instructors, while Anna Vann attended as an adaptive snowboard coach. This was a fifth SkiSpec for Tom Hall, three times in the academy, twice as a lead instructor. Congrats to all for all your accomplishments and contributions! GMAS is so proud to be able to support some of the costs of those trainings, and we look forward to having you back teaching our athletes in Stowe!

First day of training for our TetraSki and SnowKart volunteers was a huge success! This amazing program is funded by your donations, and provides people with complex disability with an opportunity to ski independently! We are so proud of how well things went, and can’t wait to get on snow with our athletes! There are still a few openings, visit our webpage to read more and sign up to get lessons in this incredible ski.
