Our Story

For more than 30 years, I have practiced "root cause" health care, looking beyond symptoms to find underlying issues that can cause pain and illness. I’m a chiropractor, who uses chiropractic, CranioSacral Therapy and Frequency Specific Microcurrent, among other techniques.

I am also a Certified Functional Medical Practitioner. I don’t treat or diagnose disease; I look at all 11 of your body’s systems to see what is “off,” to find imbalances that may be behind the illnesses and problems that have often baffled others for years. Since more than 70% of your immunity is formed in the "gut," that’s where I usually begin, removing things that should not be there, and replacing things that should be there, but are not. Many of my patients are surprised to learn that problems in another part of their body stem from problems in the gut, such as a microbial imbalance like a virus, bacteria, parasite, or mold; leaky gut; food allergy/ intolerance; or nutritional deficiency. The wonderful and mysterious microbiome never ceases to amaze me. This is where much of my training and passion lies. My focus is on guiding your healing from the inside out. You are an individual and so is any health concern you may suffer. I use thorough evaluation, appropriate diagnostic testing (both in our clinic, and using outside labs), and a rigorous review of all results to form a systematic plan for you, using lifestyle, diet and tried-and-true targeted nutraceuticals I am continually studying and evaluating.
