Tonight, I get to sleep in a warm bed.
Tomorrow, I get to cook a warm breakfast, wash my dishes, and clean my clothes.
I get to drive a safe car.

And I know not everyone gets those same basics.

Too many people are living without warm housing, warm food, clean clothes, or the comfort of family and support. That’s why affordable emergency housing matters — not as a “nice extra,” but as a lifeline.

Emergency housing gives people safety, stability, and a chance to breathe long enough to rebuild. It protects children, supports seniors, and helps individuals and families avoid deeper crisis. When emergency shelter is affordable and accessible, it saves lives and strengthens the whole community.

I’m counting my blessings — and I’m also using them to speak up.
Everyone deserves a warm, safe place to sleep.

Grief within I the first 12 months is normal but chronic grief is beyond the first year. Grief is different than depression. Traumatic and unexpected loss takes longer to grieve.

Right now, we are believing God for housing solutions that offer dignity, stability, and support—spaces that are safe, honoring, and rooted in hope, not shame. A foundation where recovery, mental wellness, and spiritual healing can take root.

What the enemy meant for harm,
God is still using for good.

In seasons of loss, grief, and deep trials,
we declare this truth: God has not abandoned us.
He is present. He is faithful. He is redeeming.

Like Joseph, we choose trust over fear.
What was meant to break us
is becoming the very place where God reveals His mercy,
His provision, and His restoring power.

God sees the pain.
God holds the tears.
God is working—even when we cannot see it.

Today, we rest in His promise:
He will sustain, restore, and carry us forward.
What was lost will not be wasted in His hands.
