Workout πŸ‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ βœ… back to making my own HIIT workouts. Focusing on doing things that challenge me, develop balance, strengthen my trunk and hamstrings, while avoiding stress on my forearms. Right forearm tendons are still a little stressed from last week and the practice hours I’ve been putting in. First audition is Friday!! πŸ’ͺ🏻🎻

πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜… YOU GUYS!!!! I’m elated!! Yesterday I did my 8 mi long run of the week AAAAND hit my time goal!!! Averaged 9:31 min/mi and aimed for 9:30. I’ll take it. Swipe left ⬅️ for the stats from my watch.
For the first time since November, I took my race-day supplements:
Pre-Run: AdvoCare O2Gold and spark
On the Run: AdvoCare Rehydrate Gel after 60 min
I told myself I could walk 5 min after 60 min. And it worked out! I’m super proud of this run and amazed at how much better I felt using supplements. I do my best to be strong πŸ’ͺ🏻 for the workouts in my own body, but I decided my long runs are long enough now that it’s time to do race-day nutrition in order to keep up my efforts. I still have to add 5.1 miles and cut 30 seconds from my overall split time to hit my sub 2-hr half marathon goal, so let’s do this! πŸ”œπŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ @ Whittier Lake Park

Drinking my FIRST ☝🏻 glass of PURE spring water!!! β›°πŸ’§ And who’s that πŸ€” hanging out with me and educating me on the benefits of this very practice?! It’s !! πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€— Bet this video is a throwback for you.
This is the tastiest water I’ve ever had. I’ll be drinking only this very spring water (from Spout Spring in MD, which I found via findaspring.com) for the next week. I’ll keep you posted on how I’m feeling! Right now I’m using 1 gal BPA free water jugs but at some point I’ll likely get some 5 gal jugs.
Also 😬 today I smashed a killer at home work out. Rolling, stretching, lifting and HIIT using the rower. My hammies are SORE y’all! Working on consistency and tackling one goal at a time. πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ’ƒπŸ»

IM BAAAACK!! πŸ˜œπŸ™†πŸ»β€β™€οΈAnd with more energy than before!! πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ’― I recently realized I’ve probably got around 50 lbs of fat on my body. (Going to find a place that can accurately assess my body fat %) My point: This is not ❌where I want to be. I love myself, my body, my mind, my spirit... I’m re-embarking on this journey to completely heal and strengthen my body out of love and respect for myself AND others. πŸ’ I am motivated and ready to take it ONE step at a time.

Where’d my smoothie go?! 😜
This thing is SO delicious, you guys!! πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜›
Put into the blender in these amounts and in this order:
Almond milk - 1 c.
Frozen strawberries - ~5 or 6 (They were all stuck together Ali went with it)
Advogreens meal replacement shake in Caramel - 1 pouch
Spinach - filled, pushed down, add some more until the blender container is full.
Blend for 45 seconds once it’s all incorporated!
Note:
It was probably about 6 or 7 cups (the kind you use to measure flour, not liquid) of spinach pushed down. Any greens work here, really. Some are just more mild than others.
Fave mild greens:
Spinach
Collards
Romaine has a distinct flavor, but will do if nothing else.
Chards are pungent
Dandelions are bitter, but lemon helps! These are SO good for you so I use them often.

4x 1 min intervals:
- sprint (8.5 speed at 1, 2, 3 and 4% inclines)
- 10 spider climbers & 2/4/6/8 side plank leg lifts (R/L switching; first two rounds increasing # leg lifts; last two rounds decreasing # leg lefts)
- 40lb deadlifts

We’re aiming to see what can fit into her BUSY lifestyle that agrees with her digestive system and caffeine sensitivities. She is being her own detective and trying to find ways to be healthier. She has three kids, is the bread winner of her household, cooks and cleans while working 50-60 hrs a week, including late meetings that are often filled with telling people making for a stressful environment. Let’s see what we can do!
