Our team brought the boo and the brilliance this year with some amazing costumes!
We had a spicy Chips & Salsa duo 🌶️🫔, classic Scarecrows 🌾, Stitch from outer space 🐾, the ever-enchanting Snow White 🍎, the colorful cast of Inside Out 💙💚💛❤️💜, and even a clever Librarian keeping things organized and spooky 📚🕯️!

We are happy to announce a new provider to Kiamichi Family Medical Center! Dr. Baracker is now accepting patients at the Idabel location! We are excited to add her to our staff!

Dr. Lisa Baracker, DO, MPH
Physician

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, and raised between the wide-open spaces of Texas and the mountains of Colorado, Dr. Lisa Baracker, is grateful to call Idabel home. With deep family roots in both Oklahoma and Texas, Dr. Baracker feels a strong connection to the region and its people.

Dr. Baracker earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Metropolitan State University in Denver, followed by a Master of Arts in Chemistry & Biochemistry from the University of Denver. She went on to complete her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Public Health at Touro University of California. Her medical training took her across the country, including internship at Michigan State University residency in both Montana and Oklahoma.

Over the past two decades, Dr. Baracker has worked in a variety of settings—from primary care clinics and public health organizations to healthcare administration and reproductive health services. She has served communities in California, Michigan, Montana, Oklahoma, Oregon, and beyond, always with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based and patient-centered care.

Dr. Baracker is an active member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and the Society of Family Planning, and she is passionate about supporting families, advancing public health, and making a positive impact in the lives of her patients.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Dr. Baracker volunteering, playing music, hiking or spending time with her family. She is excited to be part of the Idabel community and looks forward to building relationships with her patients and neighbors.
