It makes me sad to have to post this because I wish the world were a better place. With that said, Woolf Counsling will NEVER post personal stories or request help or funds for any individual. All training, classes, and other service options will be run through our official web page and EHR. We will never require account or card numbers. Be safe out there peeps! And to the people who have required this post, maybe you need to see a counselor to figure out why you are being such an awful person so you can make better choices. Do Better!

Discomfort reducing apologies seem to help but actually damage the relationship’s trust bridge more. Accountable repairs with consistent and actionable change are what create the safety and allow the trust bridge to be rebuilt. It takes time, expecting anything less is unreasonable and can be unhealthy.

I love this! We cannot challenge, change, or choose until we have understanding, AND we cannot understand what we have no knowledge or awareness of.

This does not have to be what next year looks like. There are several effective treatments (such as EMDR) that reduce PTSD symptoms and take the power back from current triggers and flashbacks. You’ve done your duty, and now you deserve your peace!

I love this 1. Because almost all of his videos are so amazing. 2. Because it is funny and I like to laugh. 3. Because “she” is recognizing she had a part in the pattern.
Books are a great way for couples to learn and grow together in all sorts of areas…cooking, parenting, car repair, in the bedroom, emotionally, financially... Sometimes having a therapist that specializes in family/couples is needed to help translate what is read, shift from knowledge to understanding and action, and/or address past hurts/old coping that get in the way of even being able to read the book or recognize what the relationship needs from you.
