Meet Aurora, Mountain View Hospital’s first baby born in the New Year 🥳

Aurora was born to loving parents, Abigail Moline and Asher Hainsworth, on January 1 at 3:07 p.m. She weighed exactly eight pounds and measured 19.75 inches at birth. We are happy to share both mom and baby are doing well.

Congratulations, mom and dad, she is beautiful!

Our NICU elf is modeling a nano preemie diaper, chosen because he's roughly the same size as a micropreemie. A micropreemie is born at less than 26 weeks gestation, weighs 1 lb 12 oz or less, or measures just 8-14 inches long. 💚🫶

🍬🏠 We’re excited to have two teams representing us in this year’s Gingerbread for a Cause! Our hospital is competing to help raise donations for the Idaho Healthcare Institute — a nonprofit supporting the College of Eastern Idaho Foundation and creating scholarships for future nurses!

Join Teton Volkswagen and the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce on December 18 from 5:00 to 8:00 for our third annual Gingerbread for a Cause competition during December’s Business After Hours at Teton Volkswagen (2220 W. Sunnyside Rd., Idaho Falls).

Teams of two will have 50 minutes to build their masterpiece using provided gingerbread supplies — plus one special decoration of your choice. Entries will be judged on creativity, design, construction, and precision.

Entry fee: $100 donation
All entry fees will be donated to the nonprofit of each team’s choice.
Payments will be accepted on the evening of December 18th, before the competition.

Free rides are also available on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
