The Center for HOPE (Helping Others by Peer Empowerment) is a Peer Run Community Recovery Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho. We envision a community and world where there is no shame or stigma related to behavioral health and where people are able to live their lives to their fullest potential. We embrace the following principles:
-There are many pathways to recovery
-The Center for H.O.P.E is a supportive, safe and nonjudgmental environment
-All people are treated with respect and dignity
-Self-advocacy and individual responsibility is supported
-Recovery exists to improve health and wellness.
-Recovery is supported by peers and other allies (family, friends, spiritual, etc.) Services at The Center for H.O.P.E:
-A safe and caring place to work on recovery with others
-Certified Peer Specialists and Recovery Coaches
-Support Groups and Individual sessions
-Smoking Cessation Classes
-Phone Call Support
-Opportunities to promote job skills, healthy living and healthy relationships
-Assistance in connecting individuals to community resources.
