Stories like that of Dr. James McCune Smith, who was the first African American to earn a medical degree. Who despite great odds left his legacy as not only a great physician but a man who fought for the rights of others. Let’s learn about these stories today so that they can be carried on past tomorrow.

🧡Thank you to our patients and community partners for your continued support. Yesterday we were able to distribute 32 turkey meals for families to enjoy during this holiday season.

As we remember the trans lives taken too soon, We’re reminded that remembrance alone isn’t enough. We honor them through action — by advocating for safety, by educating, by standing against discrimination, and by celebrating trans joy wherever we can. Their memories fuel a vision of a world where every trans person is free to live openly, safely, and proudly. Today we mourn, but we also recommit to building that future. 🕯️✨
