Better Together for Heart Health! ❤️

We loved spending the day in Hayes Center with our partners at the Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department, Nebraska Extension, and Perkins County Health Systems.

Big News! CCCH Welcomes Connor Cameron to the Board of Trustees! 🤝

The Chase County Commissioners have appointed Connor Cameron, Market President for Sandhills State Bank, to the CCCH Board. Connor brings a strong background in finance and a commitment to the long-term stability of healthcare in our county.

He fills the seat of Bob Mendenhall, who is stepping down after 27 years of service. We are so grateful for Bob’s decades of leadership and are excited to have his continued support on our building committees.

A New Chapter in Leadership at CCCH 🏥

Today we are sharing an important transition within our Board of Trustees. After years of dedicated service, Sam McNair is stepping down to focus on personal priorities.

Sam’s leadership—serving as both Secretary and President—has been instrumental in our fiscal stability and physician recruitment efforts. We are incredibly grateful for his commitment to our mission of providing exceptional care.

To fill this vacancy, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Patrick An to the Board! 🩺

By bringing a clinical voice directly into the boardroom, Dr. An will help ensure that our strategic decisions are always rooted in patient-centered care and frontline medical reality. Research shows that having medical professionals on governing boards leads to higher clinical quality and better patient outcomes—a "best practice" we are proud to embrace.

Teamwork for a Safer Community! 🤝

Safety is a top priority—not just within our own walls, but for our neighbors, too. Yesterday, our very own Barry Marshall, Physical Therapist, spent some time at the Imperial Manor Parkview Heights working with their incredible staff!

Barry provided hands-on education on: ✅ Safe patient transfer techniques to prevent injury. ✅ Proper fitting and use of assistive devices (walkers, canes, etc.). ✅ Best practices to keep both residents and staff safe and comfortable.

We are so proud of the collaboration between Chase County Community Hospital and the Imperial Manor. When we share knowledge, the whole community wins!

We Heard You, Wauneta! 🏥

Today, we are thrilled to share our commitment to expanding local access to care. Our goal is to have the Wauneta Clinic open three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

We are currently working through our provider schedules to finalize this expansion and make these three days a consistent reality for your family. Consistency in care is our top priority, and we appreciate your patience as we align our team to be a reliable resource for you once again. Thank you for sticking with us!
