Tuesday Tip:

Keep Microchips & ID Tags Up to Date!

A microchip is one of the best ways to help your pet find their way home — but it only works if your contact information is current!

✔️Make sure your phone number and address are up to date

✔️Check that your pet's ID tag is readable and current

✔️Consider having BOTH a microchip and an ID tag for extra protection

Collars and tags can fall off, but microchips are permanent. Having both gives your pet the best chance of being reunited with you if they ever get lost.

It's National Pet ID Week - a terrific opportunity to remind pet owners to double-check that their pet's identification is up-to-date. If you've recently changed addresses or phone numbers, be sure your contact information is updated on your pet's microchip. Your veterinarian can help with that!

We’d like to welcome Emma Klahn back to Veterinary Services! 🌺

Emma was an employee for us during high school and has continued to help in our boarding facility during her time off from college. 📚

Now she is back as an intern and will be shadowing and assisting as she strives to complete her Veterinary Technician degree!🐾

We are excited to assist her with her internship! 🤩

The last couple of weeks we have had students interning from Iowa State and Ohio State Universities.
