He has been adopted into a wonderful home where he will become part of a therapeutic healing program for veterans, their family and children.

Hey everyone!! Its me, Jasper.. except my name is now Pocket. I met hundreds of people this past week at the Equine Affaire, Inc. (Official). But the most important person I met is right here.

You guessed it, Ive been adopted. I cant wait to go home and spend my days with this family who loves enjoying horses as a family.

First, I get to return to Black Star Stables and Arena for a few days of R & R. In 6 weeks I've seen and done so many things. I had a great team to help train me and teach me about life after the strip mines and I want to thank Kentucky Humane Society Equine CARE for sending me for some education, BUCKEYE Nutrition for making not only tasty but nutritious feed but delicious treats as well. I would also like to give a huge shout out to Ridge Creek Tack for having halters that make me look handsome.

For now, this is Jasper…I mean Pocket, signing off.

Jasper didnt change his name, but he did cut his hair and he is here at the Equine Affaire, Inc. (Official) waiting for someone to tell Kentucky Humane Society Equine CARE that they want to adopt him. 6 weeks ago he was unhandled and look at his progress!

Jasper... what better minded young horse could you find?? 6 weeks ago (tomorrow) you unloaded here as a young, feral, recently castrated horse from the strip mines through Kentucky Humane Society Equine CARE. You have taken everything in stride, with a few "uhhh" questions.

No matter what happens, we know you will make us proud at the Equine Affaire, Inc. (Official)

We sure hope to announce that you have found a adopter. But either way you are a GREAT GUY.
