Kindness matters. But so does self-respect.

I'm not raising a child who hurts others to feel powerful —
but I'm also not raising a child who stays silent to keep the peace.

Because just like empathy, boundaries are taught.
Just like compassion, courage must be modelled.

So yes — we teach our children to be kind...

But we also teach them that kindness doesn't mean tolerating disrespect.
That being a "good kid" doesn't mean being agreeable at all costs.
That kindness isn't weakness — and strength doesn't require cruelty.

We are not raising bullies.
But we're not raising doormats either.

We're raising children who know how to honor others and themselves.
And that is what true strength looks like. ❤️
