Hello, everyone! Hope 2023 is treating you well!

First, I want to thank all my clients for being the wonderful people they are. I appreciate each and every one of you for your patronage and your friendship.

That’s why it’s with a sad heart I have to announce I’m closing my practice. Trust me, I don’t want to. I’ve been diagnosed with Stage 3b (apparently there’s an a,b and c) liver cancer. I’m having difficulty standing for periods of time and am also extremely tired and weak, so working is out of the question.

If you have (or know someone who has) an unused Gift Certificate, please send it to me with your name and address and I’ll mail you a refund check.

I recommend Arthur Peters, LMT who is in the same office I’m in. His number is 503-269-4787.

Hello, Everyone! For those who don’t know, I’m back in business again after several months in the Corona Crackdown! So with only a few additional procedures to keep everyone safe, I’m taking appointments again.

If you want to schedule, here are some of the new requirements you need to be aware of:

1) A face mask is to be worn while you’re in the office talking with me before and after the massage. You can remove it while you’re on the table, but all other times it’s required. This not debatable so if you have issues about wearing a mask you should wait to schedule until this is no longer a health issue.

2) I will be talking your temperature when you enter the office and you will need to fill out and sign a short form asking about your health and possible exposure to COVID-19 within the last 14 days. Part of this form asks you to consent to the POSSIBILITY that some of your personal information MIGHT be released to authorities FOR TRACKING PURPOSES ONLY IF a COVID-19 outbreak should occur that involves my business. I feel this is very important. We need to be able to trace down who may have been exposed, should this occur. IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH GIVING PERMISSION, PLEASE WAIT UNTIL RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN RELAXED IN ORDER TO SCHEDULE.

3) In addition to the face mask I’m asking everyone to shower and wear clean clothes to the appointment.

Naturally, I'm taking every precaution to keep things clean and disinfected and am adhering to guidelines the State has put forth. I’m just asking you to do your part. I don’t really believe this is too much to ask, but if you feel any of this violates your freedoms in any way, please do not schedule until restrictions have been eased. I’m very happy to be back at work and feel following these simple rules will help keep me open so I can continue to provide massage services for my clients.

Good morning, everyone!

For the safety of my clients, their families and my family I’m going to be suspending my practice for an unknown amount of time. Anyone who, as of right now, has an appointment with me can choose to keep it or postpone until a better time. I won’t be accepting any new appointments or new clients until this blows over. Naturally I’m sorry to be doing this but there’s no such thing as “social distancing” with massage. 😆

Please be conscientious and kind to others during this time, don’t panic and leave some toilet paper for the rest of us. And coffee. You don’t want to see me when I haven’t had coffee.

Good Morning, everyone and Happy May Day! I hope you are enjoying the wonderful Spring-like weather (rain that is slightly warmer) and getting out and about!

I wanted to inform you of some additions to my massage practice and a special I'm running for May. First of all, I'm offering CUPPING MASSAGE. No, it's not the fire-cupping of Traditional Chinese Medicine, so there's little chance of me setting off the smoke alarm during a session. The principle is the same, however: using suction from silicone cups to separate sticky layers of fascia, promoting pain relief and healing. The technique uses a combination of stationary placement of the cups and actual massage using the cups. There is no extra charge for this and can be included in your regular session on request.

And....drum roll, please...I'm now offering HOT STONE MASSAGE! Yes, many of you have requested this and I'm happy to say I'm all set up and ready to go! Because there is MUCH sanitation involved, there will be an add-on charge of $25 to my regular rates. However, during MAY ONLY the add-on fee will be $15, so there's no better time to give it a try before the weather begins to turn warm (well, hopefully...).
