Despite the weather, we bundled up and joined the amazing Cherryvale community for their Christmas parade today! 🎄✨ Even the Grinch found his heart and jumped in to help us pass out hot cocoa and candy canes. 💚☕🍬
A HUGE thank-you to everyone who braved the cold and brought out their little ones to help spread joy. Your smiles and holiday spirit made it all worth it! ❤️🎅

Officially entering our Holiday Extra Era — wearing every festive thing I own like a walking Christmas explosion. 🎄✨ And obviously, I had to document the chaos with some iconic JCPenney photos. Nothing says “holiday spirit” like posing awkwardly under fluorescent lights. 😂📸

Happy Opening Day of rifle deer season! 🦌💥 Our residents were feeling the excitement too, so we brought the fun indoors. Let’s just say… a few of them took aim and “tagged” their own deer today! 🎯😄

Lots of laughs, steady “aim,” and plenty of friendly competition made for such a good time. We love creating moments that keep everyone involved in the season’s traditions — even from inside the building. ❤️🏹

There’s something truly special about gathering around the table and celebrating the season with great food and even better company. We’re grateful for everyone who helped make this day so meaningful. ❤️🎄

Oh and we can’t forget the appearance the Grinch made. He brought a little mischief and a whole lot of laughs.

Well… the Grinch tried to steal our fun today by flattening our tire 💚✨ But jokes on him — we still made it to the Independence Holiday Parade! 🎄🎉

Our amazing staff and family members walked the route with us, spreading cheer by passing out hot cocoa and candy canes to everyone along the way ☕🍬❤️

And the best part? We were offered our very own float! 🚗💨✨

Nothing can steal our holiday spirit! 🌟🎅💚

Activity: Playing with daycare children to bridge the gap between generations!
Story: Today at Montgomery Place, our residents had the sweetest opportunity to help bridge the generational gap with a visit from our local daycare. ❤️

Little hands and big hearts came together for crafts, stories, giggles, and lots of shared moments that reminded us just how special these connections are.

There’s something magical about watching our residents light up around the kids—and the kids soaking up every bit of love and wisdom in return. 🌟

Thank you to our wonderful daycare friends for spending part of your day with us. These are the moments that make our community feel like family.

Worksgiving 2025!!

Today our amazing Montgomery Place staff came together for a festive **Work Thanksgiving meal**—and this year’s theme was **Mad About Plaid!** 🧡🦃

From flannel shirts to creative patterns, the plaid spirit was everywhere. We even added a hilarious twist with **“Anything But a Cup”** drinks! Let’s just say the creativity did *not* disappoint. 😄

There was **lots of food, lots of fun, and plenty of smiles** as our team shared laughter, fellowship, and a little early holiday cheer. Grateful for the wonderful staff who make every day brighter. ❤️

📚✨ A Special Visit from Our Maintenance Director! ✨ 📚

Today, our very own Maintenance Director, Shane, who is also a proud Marine, took time out of his busy day to honor a Cherryvale PreK Class with a fun and heartfelt reading session. The students absolutely lit up as he shared stories — a moment that meant just as much to us as it did to them!

We are grateful not only for Shane’s hard work here at Montgomery Place, but also for his service to our nation. 🇺🇸 Thank you, Shane, for your dedication, your kindness, and for making a difference both in our community and beyond.
