We’re excited to welcome Amanda Becker, LMSW, to our Behavioral Health team! Amanda provides therapy for patients ages 5+ at our Independence and Oelwein locations. Specializing in trauma-informed care, she is dedicated to creating safe, supportive environments that foster healing and resilience.

Amanda is currently accepting patients with United Healthcare, Iowa Total Care, and HealthPartners. To schedule, call Medical Associates at 319-334-2541 or BCHC Family Medicine – Oelwein at 319-283-1565. You do not need to be an established patient at a BCHC primary care clinic to receive mental health therapy services.

August is vaccine awareness month. Vaccines are one of the best ways to keep children safe from serious illness. Four important pediatric vaccines include:

✨ Tdap – Shields from tetanus, diphtheria & whooping cough.
✨ Flu – Annual protection against seasonal influenza.

Join us for an informative session to better understand memory loss.
