🌟 Provider Spotlight: Rachel Deaton, CNP, Southwest Ohio Region
When we asked Rachel to be featured in this week’s spotlight, her response was:
“Why in the world would you spotlight me?”
Because this is exactly who she is.
Rachel is known across NESWC for her clinical expertise and unwavering dedication to the facilities and patients she serves. She consistently steps up wherever she is needed, ensuring dependable coverage and continuity of care.
When asked what motivates her to go above and beyond, she shared:
“My patients are always my number one priority. I want to provide them with the very best care possible. I’m fortunate to work with wonderful facilities that truly allow me to be part of their team. It’s important to me that they know they can depend on me and that I’m always here to support them.”
To Rachel, true partnership means inclusion and collaboration.
“Being a true clinical partner means including the patient, their families, and the facility staff in every discussion and decision. It’s imperative that we work together to achieve the patient’s goals. We all come from different experiences and backgrounds, and I truly value the opportunity to learn from one another and share knowledge.”
Her philosophy of care says it best:
