If you are following this journey, let this be your reminder today: write this down every morning———
“Today is going to be my peaceful day” that is the daily intention of the Venerable Monks.
When your feet hit the floor, you are already at the starting line.
Walk for peace in how you speak, how you react, how you treat strangers, how you treat yourself.
What's one small way you're choosing peace today?

I highly recommend you to follow the Venerable Monks journey on their walk for peace that started in late Oct in Ft. Worth to DC. They are crossing into NC currently. The message is peace, compassion and loving kindness.
To be completely honest they are what is giving me any glimmer of hope.
May all beings without exceptions, be happy, healthy, safe and live in peace.

From ft worth to DC. Day 79. They are now in SC
Monks - people who choose silence, solitude, and prayer are walking across the nation calling for peace.
That alone says a lot.
These are people who don't speak unless it truly matters. They don't chase attention or seek chaos.
So understand this… when monks leave the temple, it's because something in the realm of power has crossed a line—and now we're watching that archetype walk down our highways in real time. This doesn't feel like a field trip, it feels like a quiet declaration that the way things are being run is spiritually unacceptable.
If this is the start of an uprising, it's not the kind with broken windows and hashtags—it's the kind where disciplined, praying bodies expose how illegitimate cruelty and corruption really are.

Even though yoga is this journey inward, into our own minds and hearts..into our own suffering and liberation, it also teaches us that it’s equally this journey OUTWARD into COLLECTIVE suffering and liberation. Teaching us to see the SELF in all other beings and ultimately see the SELF everywhere. When we see other beings suffering.. the yogic path would tell us to treat that suffering as if it were our own and then actually do something about it. Action is always superior to inaction. To be on the spiritual path, we have to expand beyond ourselves and actually act in collaboration and in service of OTHERS for liberation to actually be possible. - Ben Kaira

Whether you are a new to yoga or have been on your mat for a while…I design my beginner workshop with a lot more than just asana(poses/movement). You will learn about props, history/philosophy/types of yoga, appreciation over appropriation etc. I would love to remind you or start you on your journey!

I don’t have any real words of wisdom of my own for the new year, so I will share some words that I found that my mom wrote on a piece of her mail. It only solidifies who I am today and the way she shaped me. Always curious about other ppl, cultures, places other from my own. I hope you make a friend that doesn’t look like you in 2026. One that helps you grow into a better version of yourself and an understanding that we are more alike than different. We all want the same things. Health, happiness, safety and a life of peace. 2025 was a gut wrencher for me, but these reminders I find out of nowhere are some of the highlights.
