Group therapy for healing from Narcissism / Toxicity -starts in May-2026 Wednesday 6-8pm my office!
Let’s recover from narcissism together! This is the place to start!
I was blessed that my very first therapist - 1984? - taught me how to set and maintain boundaries with my Mother, created a temporary No Contact, re-wired my brain, grieved the “fantasy” and became an adult freed from toxic guilt, her emotional in**st and obligations and became very clear on refusing emotional blackmail!

It may look small, slow, and very cute, but the slow loris is not harmless. This little primate has big round eyes and moves quietly through trees, which makes it seem gentle. People often feel drawn to its sweet face, but appearances can be deceiving.

The slow loris is the only primate known to have venom. It has a special gland near its elbow that makes a toxic secretion. When threatened, it mixes that secretion with its saliva and can deliver it through a bite. The venom can cause intense pain, swelling, and allergic reactions in other animals and in people. Scientists think the loris uses the venom mainly for defense and to protect its young.

Despite this danger, slow lorises suffer because of humans. They are taken from the wild for the pet trade and often harmed when their teeth are pulled out to make them safe. Many die from this abuse or from stress and poor care. The best thing is to admire slow lorises from a distance, support efforts to protect their forests, and help end the illegal trade that puts them at risk.

🌿
Many of us confuse shame and guilt, but knowing the difference can be life-changing.

💔 Shame says: “I am bad.”
✅ Guilt says: “I did something bad.”

Shame keeps us stuck, hiding from the world, while guilt invites reflection, growth, and repair.

✨ Healing begins when we learn to sit with guilt without letting it turn into shame.

Remember: You are not your mistakes—you are human. 💙
