Freezing rain advisories mean slick, dangerous travel; Try to stay home, but if you must go out, go slow, avoid sudden movements, keep a fair distance between you and other vehicles.
Impacts; slippery surfaces and hazardous travel, downed trees/limbs, and power outages
Make sure to have a winter kit with you; blankets, flashlight, food, cellphone for emergencies
If you get stuck/stranded; stay in car, run engine for 10 mins every hour for heat; crack a window slightly for ventilation, and tie a bright cloth to your antenna/door; use your flashlight at night.

CHAIR YOGA IS BACK @ Hamilton County Public Health!

When: Mondays
Time: 10:00-11:15am
Where: Conference Room at Hamilton County Public Health Department, 139 White Birch Lane, Indian Lake, NY
What to Wear: Loose, comfortable clothing
What to Bring: Yourself and a water bottle to stay hydrated
Fee: None! Chair Yoga is funded through a grant by OFA.

January Practice Dates:
Monday, January 5
Monday, January 12
No practice on Monday, January 19, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday
Monday, January 26

Our first few practices will be a gentle re-introduction to Chair Yoga. This would be a great time to encourage people who have not done Chair Yoga before to join us, so they can build their skills and confidence. We are all learning together!

Chair Yoga Cancellation Policy:
1. Any time Indian Lake Central School has a weather-related two-hour delay or school cancellation, we will not meet for Chair Yoga.
2. No Chair Yoga on state or federal holidays when Public Health is closed.
3. If I need to cancel Chair Yoga for illness or emergency, I will email and post on Facebook by 8:30am the day of our practice.

I am offering Chair Yoga only at this time.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and practicing Chair Yoga together!
