We had a wonderful time celebrating International Women’s Day at Somerby Edgewater! 💐

Led by our Sales & Marketing Director, Lejla Dotson, families and team members came together to bring smiles and delicious homemade crêpes to the wonderful ladies in our community. The day was filled with laughter, meaningful conversations, and shared stories.

It was a special opportunity to celebrate the strength, wisdom, and inspiration these incredible women bring to our community every day.

Our Lilac Trace neighborhood enjoyed the loveliest Valentine’s Saturday Chocolate Social. Residents spent the afternoon savoring rich chocolate treats, reconnecting with familiar flavors, and sharing moments that felt both comforting and joyful.

February is Black History Month, a time to honor the history, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans who have shaped our nation. We remember Harriet Tubman, whose lifelong commitment to service extended beyond her courageous work on the Underground Railroad. Later in life, she helped establish the Harriet Tubman Home for the Aged, caring for elderly and underserved members of her community — a powerful example of compassion, dignity, and community care that resonates with us today.
