Hello! My name is Seth King, and I’m excited to share that I’ll be joining the River Chiropractic and Wellness family beginning March 2nd.
A little about me—I'm a board-certified Holistic Health Practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) and am currently on track to attain my Doctorate in Natural Medicine through Quantum University. I earned my bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Grand Valley State University in 2020, originally with the goal of pursuing dental school. Around that time, my life took a meaningful turn when my dad was diagnosed with Erdheim-Chester Disease, a rare form of blood cancer that ultimately led to kidney failure and heart issues.
The hardships surrounding my dad’s diagnosis profoundly shifted my perspective on health and healing. Being so close exposed me to the limitations of symptom-based care and highlighted the importance of an integrative approach, taking stress management, exercise, and nutrition into account. Toward the end of my collegiate journey at GVSU, I realized my place wasn’t in dentistry, but in nutrition and improving health through a root-cause, systems-based approach.
At River Chiropractic and Wellness, I’m excited to bring the AO Scan technology, a frequency-based assessment tool that helps identify areas of balance and imbalance frequency-wise in the body.
The AO Scan takes already found frequencies and identifies subtle irregularities, laying out the information onto a report to begin our approach.
For example, a healthy kidney typically resonates at approximately 318.88 Hz. The scan measures the body’s subtle frequencies and relates the information, and identifies deviations from those healthy reference points, helping guide where additional support may be beneficial from an energetic and functional perspective.
Outside of holistic health, my free time is occupied with ski instructing at Boyne Mountain, weekend ski trips to Mount Bohemia, and during the summertime- trail hiking and golf.
I’m grateful for the opportunity and look forward to serving the northern Michigan community in supporting individuals on their journey toward long-term health and wellness.
