When we hold onto resentment, grief, anger, or control, the body often tightens around those emotions. Over time, that constant state of holding can feel heavy in the chest and exhausting in the body. Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting, excusing, or pretending something didn’t matter. It means that you are choosing peace.

When the heart feels lighter, the whole body follows ♥️

Your body always knows...

Today, take a few quiet moments to notice where you may be holding tension. Tension tends to hide in your jaw, hands or shoulders first. Gently soften those places. Let your inhale widen the collarbones, and your exhale melt the weight you’ve been carrying.

When we bring awareness to the body, we create space for the heart to feel, release, and heal.

Move slowly. Breathe deeply. Listen without judgement.

No commuting necessary! You don't have to worry about parking, get in the door to check in or grabbing your favorite spot.

Your favorite spot is already there! Find anywhere in your house (or hotel, air bnb, tent, etc) to roll out your mat.

Can't find your mat? Grab a big towel. No problem.

Wear something comfy that you can move in, turn your camera off if you want to, and flow without any pressure of being anywhere else for an hour.

Sometimes when you're stuck in the house, you're also stuck with the one person that you try to always avoid. That person is YOU. We tend spend a lot time (sometimes years) avoiding our feelings, grief and also sabotaging our own growth. It's normal to want to help others, but we need to stop sacrificing ourselves to do it. You know what they say about putting the oxygen mask on yourself first?

Learn to love your company as you invest time to heal. It's worth it ♥️
