Excellence in Education 2026 ICTC Finalist
Parker Sleppy
Parker Sleppy has been named one of the Finalist for the Indiana County Technology Center’s Excellence in Education Student Award. He is a senior at the ICTC in the IT & Cybersecurity program and attends Marion Center High School. He is the son of Matthew and Jennifer Sleppy of Creekside.
At ICTC, Parker was elected to serve as President of the IT & Cybersecurity Class; he also serves as the President of the National Technical Honor Society. Parker participated in the “Teens Teach Tech” program & SkillsUSA where he placed third.
Parker has acquired the following industry certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Google IT Support, and Google Cybersecurity.
During his Senior year, Parker is enrolled in the Applied Science Associate Degree program at Saint Francis University. Parker is completing four online college courses which will be combined with 48 articulated credits. This will allow Parker to earn his Associate’s degree simultaneously with his high school graduation.
Outside of school, Parker works as a car detailer for Griffith Auto Sales and does IT Support for Sleppy Chiropractic.
Upon graduation, Parker plans to attend Saint Francis University and earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity. He plans to pursue a career in the FBI in cyber defense.
