Dr. Hilliard is proud of his local roots growing up in Indiana County and graduating from IUP with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. He graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1998 with a Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Hilliard completed his training with honors at Philadelphia's Eye Institute, JFK Memorial Hospital and the VA Medical Center of Manchester, NH. In 2006, Dr. Hilliard completed his fellowship when only less than 10% of practicing Optometrists obtained fellowship status within the esteemed American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Hilliard is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, The American Optometric Society, the Pennsylvania Optometric Society, the Southwest Optometric Society, the Ocular Surface Disease Society, and the Ocular Nutrition Society. Aside from being in private practice, Dr. Hilliard is also on the clinical staff at TLC Laser Eye Centers in Pittsburgh, PA. He has held this position since 2000 and has also served on their clinical advisory committee. Dr. Hilliard is also the attending Optometrist for Indian Haven, Beacon Ridge, and St. Andrews Nursing Facilities. Dr. Hilliard is an active member of his local community and participates in numerous community organizations and boards. He coaches Indiana p*e wee football and little league football. In his free time he greatly enjoys skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, and participating in competetive triathlons. We offer you a truly unique eye care experience in our state of the art facility. Our staff has been providing Indiana, PA with high quality eye care for over 60 years. At Indian Springs Eye Associates, we offer a friendly, caring atmosphere built upon exceptional customer service, while utilizing the latest advances in eye care technology.
