Happy May everyone! It's been awhile since there has been an update. Yesterday I had my 6th follow up appointment. The good news is everything is stable and I get to start going for check ups every 2 months now. My iron levels are a little low but we don't have to start a supplement only a multivitamin which should taste better. I got donuts today with Millie, went and got special hot chocolate, went to the zoo, and played some T-ball. Normal kid things besides the whole hospital appointment!

So today was a super big moment for me. I got to ring the bell! I rang the bell three times well, it's toll to clearly say my treatment's done. This course is run and I am on my way. Thank you everyone for all the support and we are so excited this moment has occurred. It's been a long time coming and we celebrated today with friends and family. Went to lunch and the children's museum. Also my blood counts were in NORMAL range for the first time in over 2 years!

808 days since diagnosis. Well here I am on the last day of treatment. I took my last chemotherapy pill tonight and we celebrated with sundaes. I'll be having my bell ring ceremony next month. We cannot express how thankful we are from the support of our families, friends, and even strangers. We received so much support from different foundations, such as the Sadie Keller Foundation , Talia's Legacy Children's Cancer Foundation, Roc Solid Foundation , Parker Project INC , Leia's Kids, Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, Rally For Reid Foundation, Little Red Door Cancer Agency, and Little Wish Foundation amongst others. It feels amazing that we are here and we thank you all again for the support. There will be updates as we still continue checking blood levels to see how my body reacts from not being on chemo and also updates to future fundraisers that can help others that may go through a similar situation as we just finished.

Yesterday we hit a big milestone! We finished our last dose of steroids! This last steroid pulse definitely was showing its effects. I have so much energy and am eating everything. We are getting to the lasts of everything and it is very exciting! We even got a milestone gift from the Sadie Keller Foundation. Thank you so much for the Nintendo Switch. I'll be a pro at Mario Kart soon. Happy Halloween!

To say today wasn't a big day for me would be a lie. We had our last lumbar puncture/spinal tap, our last vincristine dose, methotrexate in the spinal fluid, and of course the big news we got our port taken out! It was a long day that began at 815 at the hospital and finished around 240 recovering from port removal surgery. I was ready to chow down after. Thank you all for the prayers, we are getting so close to the end of treatment! I'm on my last steroid pulse for five days, and am still taking chemo pills at home.

Well I had an Emergency room visit last night. I spiked a fever and had to go through the normal protocols such as taking blood cultures from my port, arm, get antibiotics, and a viral swab. Results showed I have rhinovirus/enterovirus. I'm feeling a bit better today and I got this sweet toy from Riley today. I've been tagging along with Mom and Dad today who have their 5 year anniversary today. We ate lunch and have been taking it easy at home.

We are at the craft fair this morning. Come out and support us the funds will help with our continued medical bills. Also good news yesterday is I don't have to take anymore iron supplements since my levels are back to normal!
