IFDA welcomes Patrick "Pat" Day as the 2026-2027 Secretary Treasurer
Patrick “Pat" Day, native of Frankfort, is a 1997 graduate of Frankfort Senior High School and attended Purdue University, majoring in Communications, where he also sang in the Purdue Varsity Glee Club. He then went on to study at Worsham College of Mortuary Science, graduating in 2004.
Pat’s funeral service career started while in high school working with Mark at Genda Funeral Home. He has also worked for Soller-Baker Funeral Home in Lafayette, West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home/ Welch & Cornett Funeral Homes in Spencer and Linton, and Stout Funeral Homes in Kokomo before returning home to Day & Genda Funeral Homes. Over those years, Pat served on the IFDA Board as District 6 and District 4 Director.
Pat and his wife, Tashia, have built a family with their children, Ruby and Sophie Day and Vander and Dane Lindvall.
Pat enjoys playing basketball, singing, hiking, pitching horseshoes, playing disc golf, traveling, experiencing new things, cheering on his Boilermakers and Cubs, and spending time with his friends and family.
He is grateful to be taking this new role with the IFDA Board, continuing to serve the membership, the profession, and the people in the state of Indiana, striving to continue the great level of funeral service our state.
