🌸 Spring Renewal at Pure Heart 🌸

Our community has grown in such a beautiful way that we’ve officially outgrown our original studio space, and we’re stepping into an exciting new season of expansion. 🌷

While our new space is coming along beautifully, classes will continue at our temporary home:

We’ve also launched our Spring Renewal Memberships, designed for those ready to move, breathe, and reconnect this season. These memberships include both in-person classes and virtual access, giving you flexibility to practice wherever you are. 💻✨

Our weekly offerings include:

🌸 Nap & Meditate Soundbath
🌸 Rotating Saturday Yoga flows
🌸 Virtual classes throughout the week

As the weather warms, we’ll also be bringing some of our favorite experiences outdoors, including Yoga in the Park, outdoor walks, and seasonal gatherings that celebrate sunshine, movement, and community. 🌞🌿🌸

Prenatal & Postnatal Access Matters 🤍

Pure Heart is preparing to launch a Pay What You Can Prenatal + Postnatal Yoga Program designed to serve our local prenatal and postnatal community with care, safety, and access.

The transition into parenthood is one of the most vulnerable seasons of life. It requires informed support, physical stability, and community connection. Too often, consistent prenatal wellness care is financially out of reach.

We are committed to offering it anyway.

To properly equip eight prenatal stations and provide the first three months of program support, we are raising $1,050.

Your contribution goes toward:

• Support bolsters
• Support blankets
• Yoga blocks and straps
• Sanitizing and setup supplies
• Program support to provide access to class
• Light refreshments following class ☕️
• A welcoming space for expecting parents to nurture themselves in community 🧘🏽‍♀️

This program is led by Nina Powell, Founder of Pure Heart Wellness Studio, a Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Teacher, AHA BLS/CPR & First Aid Instructor, and National Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor, with additional training in trauma-informed movement and safe sleep education. Car seat checks and proper installation support will also be available as part of our broader commitment to family safety.

We are not accepting physical item donations at this time. Contributions allow us to purchase the specific equipment required to launch this program with intention.

Sacrifice. Doubt, fear, rejection, loneliness, pain, feeling lost, uncertainty…. Just a few of the emotions you must be willing to face when God calls you to build something meaningful for yourself & others. Many of the women we serve have experienced these same emotions firsthand.

Some days it’s heavy, & leading something like this will test you in ways nobody sees, but every time I start to feel overwhelmed, God reminds me that I’m not alone.

Each day women walk through the doors carrying real life, and they are met by instructors, including me, who are honored to take part in another woman’s journey. This work is moving through all of us.

We offer yoga, Pilates, and strength training, and while this space began with waistbeads tied with intention, it has grown into something deeper, a place centered on transformation shaped by the people who show up and the people who serve.

We are more than just another yoga place, we are Pure Heart.

Why Hatha Yoga matters.

Research shows Hatha yoga helps regulate heart rate variability (HRV), which supports nervous system balance and emotional self-regulation. Low HRV is common in people experiencing chronic stress, anxiety, PTSD, or C-PTSD. Hatha yoga has been shown to help stabilize HRV, reduce intrusive thoughts, and lower anxiety.

It’s also especially supportive for trauma survivors because of its slower pace, breath awareness, and compassionate observation of the body. Over time, this practice helps people reconnect with physical sensations, build trust with their bodies, and respond to stress without fear or shame.
