Dr. Neal Patel was honored to participate in an outstanding panel of physicians, surgeons, key opinion leaders, and industry experts at the NCD Consensus Meeting held at the Hilton West Palm Beach, collaborating to develop a consensus document that will help inform and support a future National Coverage Determination (NCD)
The goal of this important initiative is to:
✔️ Improve appropriate patient access to advanced therapies
✔️ Ensure consistent application of standard-of-care principles
✔️ Promote responsible utilization within the Medicare program
Dr. Patel is grateful to contribute to this multidisciplinary effort that helps shape healthcare policy while advancing limb preservation and patient care.
We would also like to extend sincere appreciation to American Healthcare Accountability Association (AHAA) and the team at Kernexus - Anthony Kerr, and Grace Elliott for organizing and hosting such a fantastic and impactful meeting. Their leadership and dedication brought together an incredible group of experts committed to advancing patient care and healthcare policy.
We look forward to the continued discussions and the publication of the consensus document in the near future.
