Pets are more than companions...they are sources of comfort, love, and healing for survivors of domestic violence. Yet abusers often exploit these deep bonds to maintain power and control.
Family Justice Centers and partners like Red Rover and The National Link Coalition are changing that by creating pet-inclusive safety plans, co-sheltering programs, and community partnerships so no survivor has to choose between safety and their beloved cat. 🐱
Together, we can build safer futures for every family member, paws included. 💜
