As a yoga teacher, I'm often asked what pose I would most recommend people do for benefits. That's a sticky question because who is asking? Why would they want to do yoga? What benefits are they looking for? But I do have an answer!
One of these three I would recommend people do every day (and in fact people do these at at least one point every day): sukhasana (sitting cross legged), siddhasana (sitting with legs stacked), and savasana (laying flat on your back). If you haven't guessed it yet, this is me again telling you to slow down and incorporate meditation into your daily life.
There are so few things in life that ask nothing of use, yet give us so many potential benefits! And if you want to start, but you aren't sure how, I'll give you three simple words: inhale, exhale, repeat. Simply listen to your breathe like you'd listen to music and let the rest unfold. 💙
