November is Epilepsy Awareness Month!
Symptoms:
•Loss of consciousness/ awareness
•Muscle jerks
•Staring spells
•Uncontrolled movements

While epilepsy cannot be cured, a variety of treatment options are available to help manage seizures. Treatment options include medication, surgery and lifestyle changes.💜

The 5 A’s of Alzheimer’s:
1. Amnesia- Memory loss
2. Anomia- Difficulty finding words
3. Apraxia- Loss of motor skills
4. Agnosia- Inability to recognize objects
5. Aphasia- Communication challenges

*Used to help identify the signs and symptoms of the disease!
