Meridian Radiology Mobile Imaging has been providing non-invasive diagnostic services for over a decade. We believe our clients and patients’ needs are of the utmost importance and have built a team that is committed to meeting those needs. We also believe in doing things one way, “The Right Way.” We provide the best in general and vascular ultrasound as well as echocardiogram, EKG and X-ray services. Meridian Radiology provides mobile imaging services for physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, patient homes, and correctional facilities throughout Indiana. We also provide these services in our centrally located Indianapolis clinic. Mobile imaging allows our technologists to work in various environments compared to a traditional clinic based setting.
ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
X-ray technologist position requires a complete understanding of anatomy, physiology, physics, and completion of an accredited program. Must also be capable/able/trained to function as phlebotomy tech as well. Must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and must be able to explain procedure to patients. Technologist must also have an understanding of PACS and EHR system. Knowledge of principles of radiographic technique and production are necessary. Must be able to follow exam protocol as designated by Meridian Radiology. Technologist must adhere to radiation safety standards. Candidates must be able to work independently and improvise positions when condition of patient and or surroundings impede routine positioning.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Current ARRT registration
• Current Indiana State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS CPR required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Minimum 1 year experience as a radiologic technologist preferred
EQUIPMENT:
Meridian Radiology uses stationary and mobile CR and DR x-ray equipment. Technologists will use a company phone if applicable and utilize a company vehicle or paid mileage.
